info about dontnet & vb apps

I would like to request "Any lessons learned, issues, fixes, turnarounds about testing dotnet and vb applications using QTP 9.2 & 10." Most of these applications are custom built for claims processsing and for generating embedded custom reports with excel format in healthinsurance domain.
Any documents, links that discusses about them would be a big help and would save a lot of time and would guide me in what steps I should take to avoid issues and save lag time.
