Query regarding Function

Hi All,
I am new to QTP. I have one querry. Please solve this.

I want to retrive employee details from the Emp table by using function "f_empSearch(empid)" and passing the parameter empid.

i will call this function in the Main Script and it will show me details about the particular employee.
Iam Using Sql Server Database.
please solve this ASAP and send it to me my mail id
