I think, if you have QTP installed on your machine these files should be there under application data folder. what do you meab when you say - "Dont have the xml files" does this mean files are not there or the folder itself?
we faced this issue quite a time, raised a case with HP but somehow no luck, but this workaround perfectly works. Its so bad that I am still not able to convey that why it occurs.

Hi Saket, QTP installed in this directory C:\Program Files\Mercury Interactive\QuickTest Professional.
Can't find
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\HP\QuickTest Professional
copy all xml files from there and paste at your user application data folder
C:\Documents and Settings\<Your user>\Application Data\HP\QuickTest Professional
Will be knocking harder on HP door.
Thanks

Sorry my mistake, I did not notice that you are using QTP 9.2.
can you please check at C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mercury Interactive\QuickTest Professional.
Not sure but I think 'Mercury Interactive' should be the folder instead of HP.
