I have been running a QTP script that includes importing an Excel spreadsheet (.xls) using Datatable.import. I have no problem with this when I run the script directly from my Windows 7 PC, but when I try it from a virtual machine in VMWare I get an "Invalid file" error. Has anyone on this forum encountered the same problem?
