Recording a web application

can you check whether u have properties set for browser / page
You can check this by going to

tools > object identification > environment = web > check mandatory properties for browser and page
if nothing is there add some properties as name, title, url,.. and try recording.

If above things didnt work, try recording by giving the url in record and run settings.
