QTP 9.2 PRO does not record events on Windows Vista 64 Bit + IE 8.0

Hi,

I am not able to record the events when I navigate through Mercury Tours sample application using QTP 9.2 PRO on Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bit Edition SP 2 with IE 8.0 despite doing all the browser settings as suggested by the tutorial guide. I was referring to the QTP 9.2 installation guide where I came across the following system requirements:

Operating System: Windows Vista is mentioned (32 bit or 64 bit is not mentioned)
Browser: IE 6.0 SP1 or IE 7.0

Is there a constraint on QTP 9.2 working on Windows Vista? Has anyone tried running QTP 9.2 successfully on Windows Vista 64 Bit Edition? Please throw some light on this....Any help would be highly appreciated.

As per Product Availabilty Matrix from HP, QTP 10 is the version which supports vista(32 bit and 64 bit) SP1.
