Problem in opening qtp main page

After insatalling the qtp8.2,i tried to open qtp (start->qtp),the add- ins screen opens ,i selected the bulit in add ins and click ok,the qtp main open is not opening,i dont know what to do please help me and reply me as soon as possible, may be os problem ,am using (xp professional version 2002 service pack 2)

Your operating system version is fine.
Try opening again (After QTP main doesnt show up).
If it doesnt work, Re-Install.
Even then if it doesnt work, Check with HP Customer support.

If anyone had encountered this kind of problem before, please reply to this thread.

Also might be there is some other software on your system which is conflicting with QTP... Do you have any other testing tool installed?

Thanks for the info,as u said some softwares installed may be conflicting qtp ,so i will try to unistall other softwares and try,if u find any solution reply me asap
