how to script regulare expresssion

Hi, i have these address blocks. when user click on postocde button, i need to script so the right button is clicked. in the 'href' filed of the button contains

javascript:crtw9165('zipCd$1', 'city$1','stCd$1','zipCd$1Dscr');

the $ filed will be different for each postcode button. ie $0, $1, $2 etc.

try using descriptive programming.
make a counter variable and increase it before attempting the next address block.
