Where the checkpoint get saved?

Hi,

If we recording a test and insert bitmap checkpoint in our application, at the time of execution it check with the expected and able to see the result.
My concern is where the expected value get stored? is it possible to view the expected properties of the checkpoint?

sorry if anything wrong please correct it.

Depends which version of QTP you are using...QTP 9.5 and above has the checkpoints stored in the Local OR.

Thanks for your reply.

Sorry to ask this. While recording the test, the objects get stored in the OR but check point values will also stored in OR? What about the operations of Image, Bitmap, DB and all?

If anything wrong, please correct me.

Did you record a checkpoint and check on the OR ? If you did it on QTP 9.5 and above you should see it in the Local OR.

Hi,

Even in QTP 9.2 the checkpoint gets stored in OR.
If you wana check the properties of that check point then right click on the checkpoint name and select 'Checkpoint Properties...'

In QTP 9.2 Checkpoints are stored locally on your machine and not on the centralized OR. You cannot access it from the OR in QTP 9.2.
Your second statement is correct.
