Hey has anyone faced this sort of thing. When I'm trying to identify an object on the GUI by using spy it shows me something in the webtable. However when I add it into the repository, it gets added directly under the page rather than the web table. Any clues??
object hierarchy changes between spy and repository

Hi,
1. Open Object Repository (Ctrl+R) 2. Click on "Add Objects" 3. Show the Web Table, observe that it will show the hierarchy like Browser, Page,......,Web table 4. If You observe here Page is by default selected 5. You might be clicking OK button without selecting the WebTable thats the reason it was showing "Page" in the Object Repository. So i request you to select the "WebTable" before clicking OK button to add the webtable to object repository. Please let me know for further clarification. Regards, Venkat.Batchu |
