Webobjects are not identified by Spy in QTP 10 in IE8

Hi,
When I am trying to check the properties of an object in web through QTP 10 in IE8, it is showing it as webelement BUT at the same time if I record few steps and check the recorded code in expert view then all the fields are identified properly by QTP and it runs properly when i run this. Please tell me what is stopping spy from identifying web objects. I am performing all this in Windows XP.

check your zoom settings, it should be 100% and make sure that your are spying on the correct object.
