Record a textbox

Hi,
Have to set the value to the text box using record and playback method.

QTP records and stores the content of the text-box but it fails to accept the object during play. Try to get me out of this.

Text box looks like,

Contains a text box with Add new image to the right side of the text box. Once client adds the name in add new its been populated in the drop-down list (Say for eg: In my case, if i add "Sample" in add new and when i type as "S" in text-box it displays the "Sample" in the drop-down
