QTP vs QC
#1
Solved: 11 Years, 4 Months ago
I recently started to work with QTP and every time I have a problem I usually try to find answers on-line. I see a lot of reference to Quality Center; however since I don’t have it installed I can’t really establish any reference on the subject.
Is Quality Center really useful software? I saw a lot of posts where people say that QC is much easier to use, is this true?

Both are from HP, while QC is a test management/defect tracking tool, QTP is a functional testing tool. It is easier in the sense that you can store/run/manage your automated test run from a single place and anyone having access to the QC can run it from anyplace in the world.

There is a lot more about QC, perhaps can't be detailed here, you might want to check the documentation for QC.
