QTP not able to identify Terminal View objects
#1
Not Solved
Hi,
Encountered issue in automating our application. Application is developed by mix of Java, Mumps and Cache. QTP is not able to idenitfy applications designed based on Mumps language. When we see the identification properties using Object Spy, QTP is recognizing these objects as "JavaObject:Terminal View". With this object we will not be able to implement any logic as it is triggering the actions on (X,Y) coordinates basis i.e. Pixel by Pixel.

Is there any patch to make QTP identify above objects. Please help us in resolving this problem.

Hi Umainturi,

Which version of QTP are you using?
What are the addins installed?

Hi Mahesh,

I am using QTP 10.0 Version. Addin installed is Java. I have tried with Terminal Emulator Addin also, here I have selected NetManager as Category for configuration of screens. But this has not worked for us.

Please suggest if there are any other approaches.
