QTP has stopped recording 'Submits' in WebEdits

A colleagues QTP setup has suddenly stopped recording .Submit command for WebEdit objects. It has also stopped writing With statements [default setting]. Everything is setup pretty much to standard defaults and yet he cannot record a simple log in with just user name, password followed by Enter key as the "submit".

I have a similar setup yet do not have this difficulty.

Anyone have any ideas?
