QTP hangs when clicking on File menu

my QTP always hangs while clicking on the File menu. It never has any problem when clicking on the other menus. I have tried uninstalled the software, removed the installation folder, and reinstall the software again. but the problem still exist, that is hanging when clickin on File menu.
I am really frustrated at this problem... anybody can help me out? 
That's a strange behavior, check that you have sufficient RAM in the machine...otherwise contact HP-support with details.

I have 3GB RAM. I guess that should be pretty enough for QTP...
It has been fixed.
The root cause is that one of the recently opened files resides on a network shared drive which is not available any more. The problem is fixed by deleting the respective registry value.

i have QTP 10 in Microsoft Windows XP 2002 SP2. I successfully record script but when i try to run the script after displaying the temporary folder configuration (path) QTP hang and after 1 min crash. |
