QTP 9.2 compatibility with Windows 7 64 bit

I have couple of queries:

1) Is QTP 9.2 is compatible with windows 7.0 64 bit operating system?
2) Using Test Environment with Windows XP and QTP 9.2.Now we need to test the application with windows 7,64bit OS,and we have concurrent license for QTP 9.2.Is it possible to perform partitioning on the test machine so that QTP 9.2 concurrent can be used on both the windows?Is this feasible?or it there any better idea to make it work without spending money on license?

Ans 1 - No
Ans 2 - In order to work with Windows 7, you will have to upgrade to QTP10 or may be QTP 11 now. you will not have to spend any money for this upgradation. QTP 10 can work on both the environments. what do you mean by partitioning, i didn't get it clearly.

you said qtp 10 works on windows 7, but its not working. I have got windows 7 home premium edition. Its getting installed properly, but when i tried to open sample program when qtp is open, it stops & exit the sample prog., and gives the error msg "Astra has stopped working". Do u have any clue what is the problem. I m trying to get qtp installed, but its not happening...can u pls help out with this.

Try installing patch for windows 7
