Problem with Text checkpoint
#1
Solved: 11 Years, 4 Months ago
I am running QTP 9.2 on a virtual machine.
I opened QTP and wanted to record on a web application( www.rediffmail.com). When i go to recording and click on Select Text Checkpoint, i expect QTP to minimize and i should be able to select Text from the application. But this does not happen . QTP is still maximized and i am not able to select the text box from the web application.
Is there any setting i am missing out.
Please advice.

Not sure about the settings for this on 9.2 but I think you can press left Ctrl key and minimize your QTP IDE.

I tried that but that is also not working , i was wondering anyone knows about it. Is there anything else we need to do on a virtual machine.

Hi Rahul,

I don't think it's a setting problem. This problem may occur when QTP is not able to recognize that object.

May you please check it again that QTP is able to recognize that object.
If not ,than no checkpoint can be used in that case as checkpoint support only normal recording.
