Problem in opening qtp main page

After insatalling the qtp8.2,i tried to open qtp (start->qtp),the add- ins screen opens ,i selected the bulit in add ins and click ok,the qtp main open is not opening,i dont know what to do please help me and reply me as soon as possible, may be os problem ,am using IBM MACHINE (xp professional version 2002 service pack 2) ,504 mB RAM

will antivirus softwares and firewalls will conflict in opening qtp main page,or any other , please give me a solution asap Am using
