Object Recognition
#1
Solved: 11 Years, 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Hi All,

I am using VB and .Net based application. QTP recognizes all the objects till the stage where .NET based window pops up. I am not able to record this .NET based window. All web Tables are recognized as Internet_explorer server.

Please suggest how I can resolve this problem.

Thank you in advance

Hi Ankur,

To describe my problem in more detail, I am using QTP 9.5 and with Visual Basic, .NET, WEB and ActiveX as add-in.

I have recorded a script and works fine with VB and .NET objects, while in the middle of the application stops recognizing web based embedded web tables ( shows all objects as Internet explorer_server).

Is there any solution for this Issue.

This problem is solved by registering the application with QTP.

QTP 9.5 has an option of registering new browser under tools, there we have to register the .exe file of the application we are running
