Nothing visible in the Keyword view
#1
Solved: 11 Years, 4 Months ago
Hello All,

I'm a beginner of QTP with no background knowledge of the tool. I'm following the tutorial available with QTP 9.2 version and did exactly what was mentioned in the tool in recording the tests. However, as claimed in the tutorial, I do not see anything being logged in Keyword view. The screen shot given actually lists out all the steps under "Action 1". But in my system, I do not see anything at all. Am I missing anything here? Please advice at the earliest.

Thanks
Rajani

make sure you have all the add-ins properly loaded and you have launched QTP first before opening your application.
also check your record and run setting.

After you check all things mentioned by Saket, Record and Open Expert view, if there is any lines of code, then you should be able to see the expected things in keyword view. If QTP is not recognizing your application then recording will not be done properly.
