Not able to record the steps during the navigation of the sample website

Hi,

I was trying to try the trial version of QTP9.5 and I mentioned the sample website i.e http://newtours.demoaut.com but it is giving me the error mentioning that it is not able to open the browser and may be URL is wrong but it is showing as recording but not adding anything into the Action items in the end, please advise what I should do in this case.

Possible solutions,

1. Search the Forum.
2. OS ?
3. where have you mentioned ? Default or through the code ?

If you are using IE browser Check for this:

Go to tools > Options > Advanced (web)
select For Record for the IE browser form the recording option

Hi,

You can also do this, disable "User Account Control" from the control panel and then restart your machine.
