Importing data from excel sheet

Hi,

I am new to QTP. I was trying to automate to fetch data from excel sheet but the excel sheet is having filter in it. For eg. the excel sheet consists of teacher's name and the subject she teaches.
now what i need to do is like i want all the teacher's name corresponding to one subject be fetched, then second and so on, using filter.
Hope my question is clear
Can anyone please help me on this?

Hi,
You can do this by establishing ADODB connection with the Excel sheet, then frame a query according
your requirement-->Execute the Query. Import it then, This is just for your idea. Ill look into it and post you helpful code.
