IE 8.0 has error when using QTPv10

I am running Quick Test Pro v10 with IE 8.0. Durring my automated test run IE throws the error "internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close ...". QTP continues fine with IE after selecting the buttons Close or Debug.

I have disabled all of my Add-ons in IE and have even went into Adobe Reader and turned off Edit->Preferences->Internet->Display PDF in browser. Ive looked online bit havent found a similar issue when using QTP.

I cant seem to get the error message to go away.

Does anyone have a solution/idea/suggestion?

What is the OS in your machine?
If the OS is Windows 7 then we have to install a patch to support to Windows7.
Check if BHO Manager addon is installed and enabled in your IE.
we will this issue even if we have corrupted BHO manager add-on. So download and install the BHO Manager addon.

I thought I should have indicated my OS. Then I forgot to add it.

Nope, we are running XP.

I found and downloaded a BHO Manager. Will update shortly.

NOPE! I ran the BHO Manager but I still get the IE error dialog.
