How to retrive manual test cases from QC to excel(local machine)

I am new to OTA

Please guide me how to retrive test cases from QC to local machine

Ravi,
Do you have the MS Word and Excel plug in installed? If not it is available at the HP website.
Also if you have QC installed at the login splash screen there is an add in link just click it and it will take you to the down load link.

I think you should attach your test cases to the test project in QC. This way all you have to do is click on it in QC and it will open in the format that you uploaded it in.

I thought of this doing using Open test architecture so that I Can customie. Any guidance to OTA is appreciated
