How to Create and use local repository
#1
Not Solved
Hi,

In QTP there are two types of repository:
1. Shared
2. Local.

I am familiar with the Shared but i need more explanation on Local repository(.bdb) file. If possible please provide some real time scenario where we use this.

Thanks,
Sourabh.

@Saurabh,

In a simple language, whenever you record a script, QTP stores the object identification properties into Local Repository. You can also add objects to OR by opening the OR(Ctrl+R).
