HP Run Results Viewer Reporting Problem

Hi Guys,

I am a novice to the world of QTP. I have just installed a trial version of QTP and recorded a small session of flight ticket booking software and then tried to run the session. It runs well, but then later the result viewer pane gives me problem. It says "Can't create pane - assembly:"ResultDetailsPane", object:"ViewerPanes.ResultDetailsPane".. I do not know how to fix this.. could any experts here guide me through this..

Hi Arjun,
Please check if you have .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 Patch KB977354 installed on your machine, and if so - uninstall it.
This update disables the Web Browser ActiveX control (WebOC) when you run partial-trust WPF application, so the Results Details pane cannot be created in the Run Result Viewer.
Uninstalling this update should solve the problem.
