HP QTP 11 Installation Issue

Dear All,

i am facing issue while installing HP QTP 11 trial version.

1. First i tried to install QTP 11 on windows 7 but i am unable to proceed further due to previous version on the system. I tried removing all the related folders and file but it din't help. Can anyone suggest me how to resolve this.


2. Second i tried to install the QTP 11 on Windows vista as there was no version on QTP installed there. Installation started fine but then after selecting Add-In , installation is stopped with the error "\QuickTest\MSI\bin\StingrayPackage.dll; System error code 23 ". Please suggest a solution.

Hi Nidhi,

Please try to find out in section [QuickTest Professional—Installation Issues] in QTP_Readme.pdf file. I dont have QTP 11 but If
there is any such known issue like this, HP might have given Workaround in Read me File. You will find this file in Start Menu> QTP submenu.

in Help folder of QTP installation folder.

i found one more description about version 10 : "QuickTest Professional 10.00 is not compatible
with earlier versions of the HP Functional Testing Concurrent License Server."

Hi, can anyone please reply me whether windows vista home premium supports QTP 11 installation.
