I’m using QTP 8.2 on GUI SAP 4.6c (and 6.0). One thing I’ve never found a solution for is this:
There are screens in SAP where the data is displayed in an “apparent” table, but it’s not a true table format with normal selectable cells (such as is found in ME21N - Create Purchase Order) that QTP can use to “grab” a value. A good example of a screen of this type is Document Flow. In these screens you can manually copy data by using CTRL-Y to get a cross-hair pointer, then highlight the information, and do a CTRL-C, then paste wherever you need, such as the datatable.
QTP “sees” this data by whatever value is in the cell (remember, not a true cell like a table) so when the data changes per transaction, selecting it is impossible since the value is now different.
Does anyone have a solution to this?
Thanks and regards,
Ronn M
