Getting qtp error the browser application cannot be launched. possiblt the URL is wro

I am using Windows XP with QTP 10 version and IE7.

Getting below error when I try to record a test of http://www.google.com.
PLease refer attachment for more detail.

Steps followed :

after click on Record button, and change the settings to open a web page in a browser, QTP cannot get hooks into the Browser to record the actions

Note : same URl able to launch in the system but not the same through QTP.
Is there any configuration is needed on the same.?

are you able to record on a browser that is opened manually.
can you try using systemutil.run statement to launch the browser, does it work?
