Doubt in QTP Add-Ins
#1
Solved: 11 Years, 4 Months ago
Hi,

I am confused to use add-ins for QTP. For example: Right now I am planning to generate the QTP script for the .Net application. For this do I need to install the .Net add-in in QTP? Or can I generate the QTP script for this .Net application with Web add-in?

Hi

When we buy a QTP we get 3 default Addins(Web,Visual Basic,ActiveX).To run .Net applications we need to have .Net addin option along with the above 3 addins. To get any other addin apart from the above 3,we need to pay extra money to HP.At present QTP can support 16 platforms(Addins)

Regards
Santosh
Enjoy!!!!
