DP and OOP with QTP
#1
Not Solved
Hi All,

I am new user to this Blog and first of all would like to thank you all especially Ankur for this initiative!!!
I have been associated with Automation (Silk Test) for the last two years and lately got intersted in QTP.

Further my Query is -

1) Does DP supports OOPs concept fully?
In other words, is it possible to Create Classes and Sub-classes for
simulating the Test Objects?
I am able to create and use class (for TO like TextBox etc.) but
not been able to code In this way - A BrowserClass containing
WinEdits class and Radiao class etc including their custom
properties and methods.

2) If I have to simulate a DialogBox or MainWin (in case of non-web)
using DP what properties should I choose for DlgBx and MainWindows
and childWindows.?

3) Out of Description Object and Native VBScript Custom Classes,
which one is better or what should be used in what scenario?

Thanks
Tushar
