Hi I have been using UFT v12.02 since its release. It was working fine on windows 10, but suddenly it stop working. I’m not sure it is the Windows 10 update or something else. Please help me..
@Pulack: It is advisable to stop Windows auto-updates on systems where your execute your tests. You may want to reverse the update.
Hi everyone,
I have Windows 7 SP1. When I try to install HP UFT 12.53 , the installation stopped in the middle. When I tried again with “Run as administrator” option, it is showing “Current operating system is not supported to install this software package”.
However I think my system meets all the requirements. Can anyone help.

@Vicky: Did you turn-off UAC?
Yes.. turned off UAC and tried but still same error is coming.
@Vicky: You can try other tips mentioned on the same page I linked in my earlier comment.
You may want to check if you have Service Pack 1 installed on Windows 7.
I have this interesting question although pretty naive. I have a UFT 12.02 (32 bit) version loaded on a Windows 7 (64 Bit). Now when I try to launch UFT via AOM it does not launch. But if I choose to launch it directly (through double Click) it opens. So my doubt here is that whether it is MANDATORY to have a UFT 64 bit to be installed on a 64 Bit Windows OS?
@Sohag: As far as I know UFT is released in 32 bit only.
There may be admin privilege issue. AOM should work fine.
