There is a huge interest for UFT Certification exam all over the world. After the spin merger of HPE with Micro Focus – in Sep 2017 – for a brief period, the UFT certification exam was suspended. However, Micro Focus – in Feb 2018 – reintroduced a fresh new exam UFT120-12.5-ASP
The UFT Certification exam code UFT120-12.5-ASP was the exam offered by Micro Focus till 2019.

What is the latest UFT Certification?
The current certification exam is on UFT v12.5 and has an exam code UFT120-12.5-ASP (Accredited Software Professional). After the spin merger of HPE into Micro Focus, the earlier exam HPE0-M105 became inactive on Aug 15th, 2017.
What are the various types of exams offered by Micro Focus?
Micro Focus has a huge portfolio of software products which includes UFT, LoadRunner, ALM etc. Micro Focus offers four types of exams depending upon the software.
- ASP – Accredited Software Professional
- ASE – Accredited Software Expert
- CSP – Certified Software Professional
- CSE – Certified Software Expert
As of November 2024, Micro Focus only offers ASP exam for UFT on UFT v12.5.
What is the difference between an Accredited and a Certified exam?
Accredited exams are offered online and can be taken anytime/anywhere there is Internet access. A certified exam is offered at a location with a proctor present. The certified exam is typically offered on the last day of the prerequisite course.
On what version of UFT, can we take the exam? Are the certification exams for UFT 12 or UFT 14 available?
As of November 2024, UFT certification exam (UFT120-12.5-ASP) is only available for UFT 12.5 version. UFT 12 certification exam (HPE0-M105) is discontinued since Aug 15, 2017. There is no news for UFT 14 certification exam.

Now, my question is, do I have to buy/ subscribe again? My subscription will expire June 2018. Please let me know.
@MD : No, you need not buy again. As mentioned earlier, if your subscription was active on Aug 15th you will get the required extension. Just open a ticket from your member’s area.

Now price seems increased to 200$ instead of 60/70$.
