UFT 12 is available for download

HP has released the newest version of its functional testing suite – UFT 12. uft-12-released-for-downloadOther than the new features, better browser support, the interface for this version remains the same as UFT 11.5. As mentioned earlier, the download is relatively smaller and installation process is faster than UFT 11.5.

It is 1.5 GB in size.

We have to periodically change name of the applications to make sure that people are thoroughly confused as we are.

Also, check the step by step instructions to download and install UFT 12. With the release of UFT 12, trial version of UFT 11.5 is no more available from publicly available download page. (However if you have a valid HP support ID, you can still download UFT 11.5 or the earlier versions.)

    My trial version for uft got expired.

    Please let me know hw to reinstall it?

      @Ashu: You can either install it on some other machine or get the license. We do not encourage any discussion on pirated/cracked material on our sites and forums.

    2.if the 30 days trials gets expired, we cannot reinstall it. 🙁
    So sad. I am learning HP QTP and now the version was expired.

    Hi Ankur,

    please let us know,
    1.Does the QTP UFT 12.0 supports Windows 7, 64bit and IE8?
    2.if the 30 days trials gets expired, can we again re install it in to our same machine with out any issues.
    appreciate if you give more information on UFT 12.0

    Hi Ankur,

    I have installed UFT 12.0 to execute BPT scripts on Safari browser(MAC OS),Here we have an issue in identifying Java applet on safari browser(MAC OS). However it works fine on Internet explorer(Windows 7).

      @Mahesh: Mac support is in “Technilogy preview” mode as of now, so expect a limited support for various technologies. I’m sure this will change in days to come.
