Hi All,
I am looking for a solution to run automated tests for an application designed on customized Windows 8.1 Pro & Windows IOT platform. We already use UFT 12.52 for application that runs on normal Windows 7, 8.1 & 10 platform. This OS is from Microsoft & has no customization.
Could anyone of you suggest how it can be possible to use UFT for applications that run on customized OS. We are open to use UFT version other than 12.52.

Ankur,
I was a test manager in one of the top companies for 2 years. Suddenly I lost my job. Its been more than a year and not a single call. I worked on QTP, Silk and learned a lot referring your blog so many times. Please advise how to face this jobless situation.
Regards
Sri
@Sri – Sorry to know about your loss of job. It can be a pretty tough situation especially when you’re looking for managerial positions. Now that everyone is talking “agile”, cos are trying to reduce these roles as much as possible. All I can suggest you is to activate your network. LinkedIn could be a great starting point.
I wanted to provide an update to clarify that M-eux Test supports all major platforms and devices for mobile application testing. A complete list of supported mobile OS’ can be found here – http://northwaysolutions.com/solutions/automated-mobile-testing/
We just recently finished a thourough evaluaiton for mobile testig using QTP and found a simple tool called Seetest that simply records tests on all smartphone devices connected via USB to my laptop and has code export to QTP, so we are actually running the test from QTP. check it out here http://experitest.com/
In HP Discover (6/6) perfecto mobile and HP will jointly present (with QTP product manager on stage) the first complete, FULLY integrate mobile test automation extension to QTP (i.e. MobileCloud for QTP).
This product was developed in collaboration with HP’s QTP product team and offers a fully integrated QTP UI which supports mobile testing with native QTP scripting , rich multimedia reports and access to real device via Perfecto’s MobileCloud
