Diffrence between testing client server and web application

1)Calling the Client server application(Invokeapplication) and Web-application(systemutil) is different.
2) The kind of test objects created are different in client-server application and web-application.
3) Procedures like Smart identification is not valid for cleint-server application.
Theses are the few differences that I can think of.
