QTP 11 to UFT 12 should be a seamless transition in my opinion. I am sure you must be doing that but please take a backup of all your scripts before you do the move.
Good - Extended browser support. You can even work on Safari on Mac OS with UFT 12. Check the detailed feature list for UFT 12 and see if it is wortwhile for you to switch versions.
Bad - UFT may not officially support older OS like Win XP.
