QTP 10.0 with .Net addin will freeze the application if you want to save a file
#1
Not Solved
Hi,
Can anybody help me for the problem we encounted ?
I can not believe this kind of QTP problem. When you open QTP with .Net addin, even without any script test open, just go to OUTLOOK e-mail, open a new e-mail and try to attach a file. When you select a file from the directory to attach, you will find the OUTLOOK is freezed.
You have to kill the process.
This simple example demonstrate the problem I am facing when I try to build an QTP script for testing the application. Since this application will have some stage need to upload a file from directory, the application will freeze as the QTP with .NET addin open. This really affect my work as I can not continue to build auto testing script further.
Please help me to resolve this problem and I can not believe this is a problem for QTP. If you did not have .NET addin, everything is fine. However, my application was written with .NET TELERIK custom control, I need .Net addin. How come QTP with .Net addin will freeze any application attach /save/ upload a file ?

Thank you
Janet
