I assumed you are referring to att 'icon' in the statement in results.xml "<NodeArgs eType="Replay" icon="7" ..." correct me if I am wrong.
this info is actually referring to icon which will be used for that particular node and it is mapped to name of icon file in icons folder. No idea on customizing the results with mentioned Information, just curious to know why one would like to customize the results this way and why do you need to change the icons, I think the icons QTP using is perfect to understand for all the objects.
