Hi Indranil,

Try this:

Code:
strData="1,99,98,774"
RetVal=ConvertStringToNumber(strData)
msgbox RetVal

Function ConvertStringToNumber(ByVal Str)
    Str=Cdbl(Replace(Str,",",""))
    ConvertStringToNumber=Str
End Function
