1.First get familiar with the Features QTP has provided.
2. Just record any test flow. For example in Flight application Login , Insert New Order.
This is for one user.
3.Then you can try above test for number of Login. Use QTP Data parameterization feature.
This way you will get familiar with QTP, then try to impelment the Test cases you generally write in Manual testing.Try to vaalidate them with QTP features.
