Can anyone help me on the below problem?

I have an application where I have to create a record.
In the Save Record page I have a table of the already exisitng record names.
Records table and text box to create a new record exists on the same page.

When i enter the new record name, i have to verify whether it is already exists in the table.

Can anyone help me how to perform this?
