Array function for Static Array

Hi,

Will it possible to assign a value to static array by Array function. I tried but it does not work

Code:

dim a(3)
a=Array('Value1", 2,3)

[basanth27]

I thought it would be like,

Code:

Dim a(3)
a(0) = "anbu"
a(1) = 1234

etc...

[anbarasu]

So we cannot use Array function rite....
I would like to add some more points...
1. We can not redefine to by Redim function...
2. Array and Redim, Preserve for Dynamic array not for static.....
Kindly confirm..................
