Our team is new to automation and we have basic knowledge on QTP. Currently we are undergoing only Manual testing. We have downloaded QTP 10.0 (with .net plug-in) and evaluating with our application.
Technical Description:
• Our application was developed using C# on .Net 2.0 framework
• The backend database server resides on MSSQL server 2005
The calendar in our application is a third party control derived from Mind Fusion.Mind Fusion calendar control is not recognized by QTP.In this project all the actions like create, confirm and cancel appointments are all performed in the calendar control. So we are unable to test the core functionalities of this project.
Kindly let me know whether we need to install any plug-in to make QTP to recognize this Mindfusion control. Or we need to install any third party tool kit.
