Does QTP work on Windows 2003 Server
#1
Solved: 11 Years, 4 Months ago
Hello Everyone again

Does anyone know if QTP works on a Windows 2003 Server environment?
I have a network system setup and want to be able to use any computer within the network to run QTP depending on licences.

For Example

I have 10 computers and only 3 licences i want to be able to open up QTP on 10 machines but only 3 people can use it because of the licence restrictions. Is this possible???

I'm getting mixed views from different companies and colleagues. I need someone who i trust and i trust you guys and gals

Hope to hear from you soon

Cheers

Andy

Yes QTP supports Windows 2003. You can get such info from readme that comes with every QTP installation.

'Concurrent' licenses of QTP does exactly what you have described in your example. So go ahead talk with your vendor, you can do that.
