error internet explorer has stopped working

When I open qtp and click on record button I get the below error. I re-installed qtp but still does the same thing. QTP was working fine until yesterday. It just gave me this error today and it is very frustrating.

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

I had this issue....

Folder options->show all hidden files

go to User Accounts,go to application data.In Application data you will having HP folder.

In HP folder u will have QTP...just rename it to old

now reopen QTP it will work

thats in your PC where QTP is installed
