Actions in QTP

I just started reading the new QTP book by Tarun Lalwani - "And I thought I knew QTP!", and have got a query from that:

In this book its said that in QTP 9.0 or higher versions, the limit of maximum no. of Actions in QTP test is 120 while I was able to create 310 test in QTP 10........
Could you please guide me on this

What is the maximum no. of Actions we can create in QTP?

Each action creates a new datasheet in excel. MS Excel has a limit of 255 sheets. So If you create more than 255 actions it will be created but there will be no datasheet for these actions created post 255.Hence you can have max 256 (Global+255) sheets and any number of actions
