QTP Beginners

hi,
I am on win XP OS running qtp 10.0 with IE 8 .
My issue is while recording only window objects are recognized but no web objects are being recorded .Please guide .

1.Make sure that QTP is launched first and then the application
2.Run QTP as admin
3. Make sure that the approriate addins are loaded.

U can close the QTP and open it once again and also close all ur opened browser and again open one browser.Try this once if it could help you.

Hi Ankur,
I am working for the first time on QTP tool. Need to test a siebel 8.0application using QTP 10. The problem i am facing is that the tool is recording some of my business process however the other part where i click on customize button to customize a product and then enter the product details is not getting captured. I am not sure how to go about it.

Can you try using the low level recording for the objects not recorded by qtp?

thanks for your reply!
I tried that too however with Low level recording, the x,y coordinates get recorded and when i replay, qtp is not able to identify the locations correctly and the replay fails.
Please guide
