Object not identified in Web application

Hi,
I want to capture a value from a window which is not identified as any object. No steps are recorded while trying to identify that object using QTP.
I am using web application ,front end developed in Java servlets.

Could you please suggest a solution for this ?

Make sure you have web addin selected ?

Hi ,

Make sure you have choosed web addin in addin manager window , Web tab in Record & Run Settings window as well.
